Vincent is our senior stallion, foaled in 2002. He is a KWPN registered pinto Dutch Harness Horse. He was bred by Winsome Stables in PA and is by the late great 2 time European Harness Horse of the Year Patijn out of Ligemma. While at Winsome Stables, Vincent won a World Champion Weanling title. He was then sold to Tara LeFave of Double Dutch Farm in Indiana where he competed in harness classes, first in hand, then driving, and sired many foals. After an injury that made competing in harness impossible for him, Vincent was sold to Jennifer Jenkins of Idaho, where he competed on the northwest jumper circuit and stood to a few mares. Vincent won many ribbons over his jumper career including High Jumper Reserve Champion at the 2008 Boise Saddle and Jump Club's Fall Classic. He also competed in dressage once with Jennifer. After a bout with colic and the surgery to save his life, he was sold to Janet Herrmann of Once Upon A Horse, who planned to compete him in dressage, but his previous injuries prevented this. In 2012 Vincent retired to stud here at Jumper's Sport Horses on the strength of his previous show career, solid conformation, wonderful temperament and lovely movement. Vincent has sired 2 foals for us out of our Appaloosa sport horse mares. In addition he sired numerous foals out of Dutch Harness Horse, Thoroughbred, Arabian and Pinto mares in the years before he came to us. We have photos of a few of the foals he sired before he came to us, and of course the ones that were foaled here at the farm, for your inspection. We offer both live cover and AI, stud fee $750
Vincent was competed as "Vini Vidi Vichi" while he was owned by Jennifer Fair (Jenkins/Martinez)
We would love to have photos and hear about the foals he sired before joining Jumper's Sport Horses.
We love to talk horses and show off the ones we have! Stop in or call ahead to make sure we're here.
