About Our Stallion

J S Great Spot, aka 'Hotshot', is our 2013 double registered (ApHC & AWS) dark bay leopard stallion. Hotshot stands 16 hands tall and is the product of our 30+ years of breeding champion Appaloosa sport horses. He is well conformed, athletic, tractable, willing and loudly colored. Hotshot is a son of Butterwap Confetti, grandson of champion Appaloosa sport horses JAS Rockin Robin & Wap Spotted and carries the blood of many champions, leopards & few spots in his pedigree. He earned his permanent AWS breeding papers as a 3 year old in hand, then entered the dressage show ring in 2019 with Jamie Bonovitz in the saddle. With COVID19, an injury to Lise and the move to Kentucky we have temporaritly retired him to the stud pen.
